A really great experience, our server was friendly and nice. Their portions are really really good, also great prices. It is not a fancy restaurant or anything like that, so don’t expect too much, it was a cute cozy spot in the neighborhood. We really enjoyed their breakfast.
Stopped in for breakfast at the Stagecoach Restaurant during a recent visit to Niagara-on-the-Lake, and it was a fantastic experience. I ordered the breakfast special, which hit all the right notes. The eggs were cooked to perfection, the toast and bacon were satisfyingly crispy, and the coffee was excellent—hot, fresh, and flavorful. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the meal and the charming setting. The diner has a cozy, old-fashioned vibe that adds to the overall experience—it’s the kind of place that feels like a step back in time, in the best way. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a hearty breakfast in a warm, nostalgic setting. A hidden gem in the heart of town!
Cute, friendly and great food. We stopped in here for breakfast on a Sunday morning, so glad we did. We were greeted with a smile from the fantastic staff. Food was great and came out very fast. We sat right by the front window, we saw a older golden retriever come to the front door. The staff knew him by name and had a bowl of treats for him it was so heartwarming. Genuine and amazing people working here. We loved every second of our time here.
Super friendly staff. Amazing breakfast!! And great value! Whoever cooked my breakfast here is now one of my favourite people! Everything was cooked perfectly. I can’t say enough good things. I’m just disappointed I can’t be here for lunch. Highly recommend!
Best retro restaurant in Niagara-on-the-lake! I love old diners filled with history and delicious down to earth food! This restaurant did not disappoint. The service was great. The food came fast and was tasty; French Toast with a side of bacon and Western Sandwich. Busy little place. If you have to wait for a table, do so, you likely won’t regret it!
Visit the Stagecoach every time we spend the night in beautiful Niagara-on-the-Lake. We love their blueberry pancakes. It is a very cozy restaurant.
A great spot to stop for lunch, especially if you’re just looking for some good food in an unpretentious spot. Our second time here and it’s now a go-to! I got the corned beef sandwich, which was big but not enormous (a drawback for some, a relief for me) and a fresh side salad. Husband got hot hamburger with gravy and fries, which also looked good. Service was friendly and fast, they were helpful in avoiding dairy for me, and the place was cozy and clean.
What a great community and setting and restaurant. I love this quaint place with wonderful food that is not salty and the home fries were amazing being crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The chili was perfect and it came with toast. My grilled cheese was really good with the crispy part on the outside and softened and melted on the inside And it came with a side salad or something else and it was very fresh (the tomato and lettuce and cucumbers, and greens). Our waitress was amazing and so sweet and lovely So kudos to her Alli! And Katie was nice too even if she wasn’t our waitress. We would love to come back again all the time when we are visiting from the US. The prices are amazing also (10.50 for grilled cheese with a side salad).
